SAVING CZECH FOOTWEAR
The takeover of Botasek was not just like that
When Václav Staněk founded Vasky in 2016, one of his goals was to save Czech footwear. And just seven years later, he got a unique opportunity to prove how serious he was. The Botas brand, a Czech footwear legend, was for sale. But it wasn't exactly for a few crowns. So we launched a giant Sale for Botas, in which thousands of people joined in saving Botas. Together we did it, and Botas entered its next era.
FAMILY BUSINESS
Management remains in the family
From the beginning, we knew that Botasky had to live its own life and could not remain part of Vasek. That is why Václav Staněk decided to hand over the management, but it remained in the family. The new director was Vít Staněk, a man of heart with the soul of an athlete, who had no doubt that he would take it to the right end. And we are becoming more independent. We even have our first store!
CONTINUING THE TRADITION
We continue with hand production
Some things change, but the most important thing remains. We still make them by hand and from the best materials. We want Botasky to continue to be synonymous with quality. After all, these are shoes that were worn not only by our parents and grandparents, but also by world-class athletes. We believe that Botasky does not belong in history textbooks, but they still have something to show. And who knows, maybe we will make it to the podium again one day.

Sneakers keep up with the times, but they still retain a piece of their glorious past. Some models are directly based on famous cuts – and we couldn't say goodbye to Botas Classic, for example. You would be hard-pressed to find a more iconic shoe in our region. But we know very well that we can't just look backwards. That's why we're constantly working on new products and doing everything we can to ensure that Botas are always the best.
